Annie explained to Joseph that he was too little to camp outside this year but that he could join us for the great camp-out of 2012.
Uncle Aaron and I decided that we needed to make the most of the backyard and do a camp-out with Annie and Georgie.
Annie decided to supervise as I set up the tent...she is a very good supervisor.
She made sure to pack the essentials for camping...pink pillow and stuffed animals!
Tent city half way there...Annie and Georgie supervising!
Annie was having a blast running from one end of the tent to the other...but she did not account for the flex of the mesh windows...no children were injured in the taking of this photo. Much laughter though!
Working our urban campfire...Annie was SO EXCITED to make smores!
Uncle Steve read a Curious George story about camping to the girls while we were camping...kind of a meta-narrative experience for all you post-modern campers.
Annie and I in our tent...
All the campers cramming in for a group photo! Something pretty special about the first camp out!
Bonus Photo:
Annie coloring...something she LOVES to do. If you haven't been the recipient of Annie's artwork...just ask and we'll send some along! She's in her bug and frogs wearing glasses period of art work...very striking!
Thanks again for the pictures.
