Annie was excited about her actual birthday and wanted to share all that fun with her baby brother on birthday eve and the morning of the big DAY.
By the second round of suffocating love, Joseph was a little...ummm...done.
We had a lot of fun with her cousins and aunt and uncle for her birthday, unfortunately all that fun created mostly blurry photos...except this one...another day...another party...another cake and candles.
We (by we I mean all three of us) made a banner for her birthday and a friend at work supplied Annie with a silver A that became a great propr for some cute photos.
I think the facial expression for this photo was inspired by the Lollipop Guild in the Wizard of Oz "We represent the..." can't you see it!?
Joseph enjoyed that day as well and picked up some pointers about eating cake, playing games, and how to have a great birthday. There were about ten kids in our house so don't let these calm and serene photos fool you...it was LOUD and crazy!
Last candles for this year...better make this wish count. By the look of things (here at the end of September) she must have wished for MORE curly hair...'cause that's what she got!
