Two Firsts for Annie

Yesterday, Annie had her first ride sitting in a shopping cart. She loved every minute of it, and was the perfect kid for a rather long stock-up trip with Mom. (It still feels weird to write that word and have it refer to me!) Doesn't she look cute...

And this here, this is a picture (taken later, obviously) of what happens when you let your 7 month old hold the shopping list! Maybe this is why they say never to go grocery shopping when you're hungry...

Finally, here are two pictures I snapped a couple of weeks ago when Annie had her first ride on the city bus. She and I had walked to Powell's Books to see Nikki, Georgie, and a friend, then took the 14 back home. You can see, especially in the first picture, how she loves being in new, interesting places (and the bus can be "interesting", for sure!).
