Welcome 2012... Pictures and a Promise

Here is a picture from this week of Annie and Joseph! We love them so much! Sorry to have deprived you of the cuteness for so long. I promise there will be more pictures on the way...(yup he's got 6 teeth now)

    Are Joseph's eyes getting darker?

      Mmm. Not really. They're still fairly blue, and about the same as they've always been. Steve thinks Annie's were starting to turn more hazel by the time she was Joseph's age (now 8 months), but I don't really think so.

    Yay! Great to see the kids. Apparently "no" is the correct answer to the question, "Do Annie's curls know any limits to their cuteness and quantity?"

    6 teeth already for Joseph?! Ziah finally came out with his first 1.5 teeth this week. And a looooong 2 weeks of poking through it was!

      Hey, Lori! I know - Annie's curls are abundant, and abundantly cute! (And abundantly difficult to keep from turning into dreads. Yesterday I spent - I'm not kidding - an hour and 15 minutes detangling them while she watched Dora, Busytown, and lots of other videos on Youtube. Still, though, I totally love them.)

      About the teeth - yeah, our kids are *really* early teethers. And, in fact, Joseph is about a month behind where Annie was at this age, if you can believe that. One thing that's interesting, too, is that (for both kids) they seem to all come in at about the same time. In fact, Joseph's 1st tooth showed up on December 27th, and by January 27th he was up to six!

      Oh, poor little Ziah (and poor YOU) - teething can be so hard! (Thankfully, Joseph's haven't bugged him much since back in December.)
